Pont Tilsitt (c) 1944 - Picture by Pierre Valot The Tilsitt bridge built from 1863 to 1864 was destroyed by the German army on september 1, 1944. Here are the remains. The Bonaparte bridge was built at the same place from 1946 to 1950.
