"de la Boucle" Bridge

"de la Boucle" bridge was built between 1899 and 1903.

Destroyed by the German army on the 1st of September 1944.

Rebuilt in 1946.

Named "Pont Winston Churchill" in 1965.

In 1982, a new bridge was built upstram with the same name.

The old Winston Churchill bridge was dismounted in 1983.
